​​BIOGRAPHY

 

     In 1995, Cory entered the Graphic Design program at Chowan University (formerly Chowan College) to improve his skills as a designer.  After his first year, an instructor saw potential in him to thrive in another part of the graphics industry.  It was suggested that he become part of the Graphic Communications program offered by The William A. Krueger School of Graphic Communication at Chowan University.

     He entered program and continued working on his skills as a designer; but also learned the skills to produce and finish any printed project.  Ranging from business cards and letterhead, packaging for products sold in retail stores, and screen printing t-shirts. He graduated with a BS degree from Chowan University in 2001.

     From August 2001 to mid-March 2004, he worked for several print production companies as a press operator, while doing freelance design work. In mid-March 2004, he entered the US Air Force, and served until he was Honorably Discharged in April 2010.

     His freelance work is done under the name Fan Of Old School Art & Design (FOS A&D), and his clients ranged from conventions to internet radio.  One such internet radio show, Cloverleaf Radio, inducted him into their 2015 Hall of Fame class in appreciation of the work he created.

     He also currently works for  the InterSign Corporation as part of their Production Art department, helping create interior signage for hotels and businesses around the country.
